This varies for every person. Some of you can benefit from scheduling your massage weekly or every 2-3 weeks. Some of you benefit from a regular massage schedule of every 4 -6 weeks. It really depends on your preference of self-care! It is important to listen to your body and know what you need most!

What should I wear to my massage session?
It always helps to wear comfy loose clothing that you can easily slip on and off to get on the massage table and also easily get ready when it’s time to leave and you have “massage brain!” Sometimes it’s best not to have a lot of accessories to think about post massage when you’re most relaxed.
-
Should I eat before my massage?
I always recommend have a plenty of water and eating a healthy snack before you arrive to your session! Massage can make you feel a little hungry!
-

Why do I feel sore after my massage?
Sometimes post massage, you may experience Delayed Onset Muscle Sorenes. Also referred to as DOMS. Some people feel it more than others. It’s almost like your muscles had a mini workout. I recommend ice and heat, and your preferred pain relief support. Other variables such as sleep, blood sugar, and hydration can also play a role in experiencing DOMS.

Can I bring my kids?
We ask that you do not bring kids to your appointment. We love kids! But it is not possible for them to be supervised during session and it can be a distraction for other practitioners in the building and for you while you’re trying to relax. If you are visiting for a postpartum visit and want to bring your newborn that’s OK!
