How Modern Massage & Wellness Started:

Established in 2022 by Allison Holloway, Modern Massage & Wellness originally began in Dayton as “Dayton Prenatal Massage. “Modern Massage & Wellness grew out of the desire to serve more women in many phases of their life and aid in their wellness with massage therapy. We are currently located in Vandalia,OH.

Why Behind the Business:

Allison has lived with hypothyroidism and chronic neck pain from a reverse curve in her neck & sports injuries and car accidents, so she understands the search for real relief. After becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, she gained experience in both high-end spa settings and clinical environments, including providing bedside massage to cancer patients at Kettering Health. Her background also includes work as a nursing assistant and in physical therapy reception, deepening her respect for compassionate, quality care. These experiences inspired her to create a space where therapeutic and medical massage meet—to calm the nervous system, relieve pain, and offer a massage experience that truly feels worth it.
